Shelves & Swap

Sorry I forgot to mention...my new shelves are the Expedit Bookshelves from Ikea.  It's two units and I have one stacked on top of the other.

If you happen to live anywhere near an Ikea ...... you are soooo lucky!! They have the best stuff for organizing.   I even joined the Ikea for Kansas group on Facebook...not sure that will help but it doesn't hurt to try :)

Now to the Siggy Swaps..... One of my stamp club girls signed up for a Siggy Swap earlier this year and she brought them with her during one of our quilting days.   I loved them and thought I'd join on the next round.  So I did.   But I'm  not sure what I'm doing with them....at the time I thought it would be cool.  I sent 101 blocks to the organizer and in return I think I get back 100.

When I get mine I'll post pictures.  I'm looking forward to seeing all the different fabrics.   The rules were we had to use white fabric (not cream) and use modern fabric.  We used a Honey Bun and a Jelly Roll to make them :)

Gotta run.... See ya later!

I thought I would give you a heads up that I have a giveaway going on my blog to feed your "fabric habit" (giggle). Any layer cake of your choice! I would love for you to come and visit...and tell a friend or two.

Hope you are able to get some quality catch up now that your super busy days are done.
