Quilt Block Swap Q & A

I decided to start a Q&A for the swap.

Q.  How many swaps do I need to make?
A.  Each group will have ten.  You can sign up for as many as you'd like.

Q.  Does it matter which Ivory fabric I use?
A.  This is a hard question for me to answer because everything I've read gives me a mixed message.   I will use the Ivory Bella Solid by Moda and you can find it at the Fat Quarter Shop by clicking on their link to the right of this blog.  Item #9900-60.

Q.  When are we swapping?
A.  How does Wednesday night at the Stampin' Up! event sound?  I can't remember what it's called.  If that doesn't work I'm open for suggestions.  I can't see it taking long to swap some blocks of fabric :)  If you want to do this don't let the lack of a date and time bother you....we'll work it out.  (I fly by the seat of my pants and it usually works out okay.) Or we can always meet later at my hotel (Marriott)

Q.  What are the rules?
A.  1.  Quilting fabric only.  2.  Use fabric that will match Ivory (not white) ...see suggestions above.  3. Use the Bigz Clear Flower Die to cut your fabric.
4.  You'll attach your name to the bag with a pin and I'll provide a video on how it will look.
5.  Block size 8 x 8.  When it's all said and done the blocks will measure 7 x 7 on your quilt.
Check back...I may have to add a few more.

Q. How do I know if I've signed up?
A.  Click here to the link where I'll have all the names posted.  I'll also add the final details there once we get it all sorted out (this post will eventually get buried with my new posts).
