Leanika by Dena

My favorite fabric at the moment is
Leanika by  Dena for Free Spirit.

If you look closely you can see some
Stampin' Up! colors like Pink Pirouette,
Kiwi Kiss, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze.

Maybe that's why it's my favorite.
Or
is it the birds?

Here's the latest
Again I think I messed up and put the handles over the ruffle and I think they're supposed to go under the ruffle.

If I'm still making this mistake in a year
I'll start putting some post it notes around my sewing area!!

Here's a few more pictures.

Here's the inside of the bag.

This bag is staying in my house :)

All the other bags I've made this holiday season are going to someone and I need this one to stick around so I can remember how to make it.
It's the same bag as the one I made with the Birdie fabric.

I'm going to show you how to make this bag with a series of videos...even how to make the ruffle.  But the earliest it can be is mid to late January.

Here's my schedule:
Dave's surgery Tuesday
Christmas
Stampin' Up! Leadership (leaving Jan. 5th & returning the 10th)

See ya!

Order Stampin' Up!

Hi Angie,
I had an idea for your ruffle....how about making your purse the same way but with the 1/2 the width of ruffles so it doesnt cover your square & have it down flat and the handles coming up from in between the purse and ruffle instead of in the bag or over the ruffle...Hope I didnt confuse you! =) I think the purse above it my favorite out of all of the ones 'Ive seen you post! The fabric is so ADORABLE. Happy Holidays & Have a Wonderful New Year!

You are amazing. It is hard to believe that you never touched a sewing machine before September. I would get a machine if I could create results like this. Absolutely darling. Thanks for sharing your creations.
