Fabric :)

Here's all the fabric I bought when I was at Hancocks of Paducah....don't forget I was only given an hour....if I had a whole day who knows how much I'd bring home!!
I think you can click on the picture to view it larger.......
I went into the store saying I was going to step out of my comfort zone and buy some fabric that wasn't my favorite colors.....the red and black was as far as I got....with an hour I just couldn't do it :) I like the birds and it might be cute for something....I may use it for one of my nieces.

After bringing home this fabric I went straight to the Ikea website and ordered myself a new Expedit bookshelf.  Delivery is around July 5th....when I get it assembled I'll show you my organization. (you don't want to see the current shelf...it's bursting at the seams!)

At one point Dave walked up behind me and I screamed....he scared me :) I was deep in the zone for shopping!!  It reminded me of the old days when I used to hide my purchases from him (before I made my own money). I'm not sure if he scared me or I was scared he would say something about how much fabric was in my cart.

But now that I'm looking at the pictures....it hardly looks like I bought anything.  I'd like to go back with a girlfriend next time!!

See ya later,

p.s. right this minute I don't have any real plans for the fabric I purchased...as soon as I get through the month of June I'm going to take a break and work on some of the projects I have in mind (remember the Stitch with Chick?  it's just on the back burner).

WOW!!! That is a lot of fabric. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

I am glad you have a seperate blog for your fabric crafts, because to me, fabric is just as addictive as pattern paper. I am always on the look out for more.

Great fabric choices. How much do you get when you don't have a project? I often fall in love, but I either buy just a fat quarter or way too much.

Like a kid in a candy store, huh?
I was wondering if you buy all the stuff through your stampin up business or is it a seperate business? Just curious, I have kept my fabric purchases seperate because I don't know what I'm going to do with the finished products but I've been using my Stampin Up dies to cut them (made a ton of your adorable Savanna bags). What do you do when you have a cross hobby like that?

Mmmmm YUMMY fabric! I can relate to your fabric sickness. I am thrilled how the two hobbies relate to each other and how you can cross over things.....I can't wait to see what you do with all those goodies!!

Angie, your quilt is gorgeous. I think you started with just the perfect type; applique. This beauty is bound to be a family treasure for many years to come. Great thought to apply a quilt label for future generations who will be enjoying it. SISSY is a little doll!

I love your quilt! It is inspiring to me - I haven't touched my quilting things in almost 10 years. I have loads of fabric and fat quarters and this quilt would be perfect for that. I have no desire to hand quilt so finding someone to do the quilting woule be a priority. I hope your headaches go away and I would love to win the special die you used for the quilt. Thanks! Angie, you are so talented! I follow your Stampin Up blog, too. I love your quilt. I also have a dog named Sissy. She looks a lot like your dog but mine is black. She follows me everywhere I go. Thanks for all you share with us.
